We offer a wide range of certificate types for different requirements and are explained below:
Portable Appliance Test
This test is carried out mainly by businesses& Landlords to ensure that any equipment provided by the company or landlord are both safe and fit for purpose.
Although not Law, Insurance companies now insist on evidence of these tests having been carried out. Our Team are ableto carry out these tests and are fully qualified to do so.
This certification includes:
- Equipment Register
- Record of formal Inspection & Tests c) Repair Register
- Faulty Equipment Register
Electrical Installation Certificate (EIC):
This certificate is required for any installation that has had the provision of a new circuit.
Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR):
This test is carried out to determine how safe the installation is over a period of time. This test is able to highlight signs of deterioration of the fixed wiring installation using the appropriate test equipment following a thorough visual inspection.
This test can also determine if there are any deviations from the IET Wiring Regulations within the installation and allow the issue to be highlighted, logged and recommended for rectification.

Minor Works Certificate (MWC):
This certificate is required when there is no new circuit being installed. This certificate is to be issued when there has been an addition to an existing circuit or indeed an alteration to an existing circuit i.e. extra lighting point, socket point etc….
